Here we approach issues of organisational form, governance, and relationships within a larger federation of contra-infrastructuring projects, initiatives and organisations.
We have an organisational model for a democratic tech fund, that comprises four circles (sociocracy-style) performing four kinds of work. An organisational scheme - Four circles
The fund/federation will of course need digital tools. We approach this via: - A real full stack of digitally mediated spaces. The spaces of the DTF community itself need to be mapped out in this ecosystem-space. We start that mapping here: DTF in the full stack - The tools to furnish digitally mediated space in the DTF need to be mapped into the Gang of nine framework. This is a frame that identifies core kinds of affordance called for in a community of digitally mediated collaboration. We start that mapping here: DTF spaces
Here we identify a number of kinds of tooling that may support digitally mediated organising, collaborating and facilitating in civil society and in the real economy. We refer to this framing as a 'gang of nine'; the categories are grouped in three trios.
